Sulfamethoxine sodium is a sulfonamide drug. In addition to its broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, it also has significant anti-coccidial and anti-Toxoplasma effects. It is mainly used for sensitive bacterial infections, for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in chickens and rabbits, and also for the prevention and treatment of chicken infectious rhinitis, avian cholera, leukocytozoonosis carinii, toxoplasmosis in pigs, etc. The effect of sulfamethoxazole sodium on chicken coccidia is the same as that of sulfaquinoxaline, that is, it is more effective on chicken small intestinal coccidia than cecal coccidia. It does not affect the host's immunity to coccidia and has stronger antibacterial activity than sulfaquinoxaline, so it is more suitable for concurrent coccidial infections. This product is rapidly absorbed when taken orally but excreted slowly. The effect lasts for a long time. The acetylation rate in the body is low and it is not likely to cause urinary tract damage.
Sulfadimethoxine sodium is packaged in 25kg/ drum lined with plastic film, and stored in a cool, ventilated, dry, light-proof warehouse with protective facilities.
