Main application :It is used as monomer polymerization initiator of PVC, unsaturated polyester, polyacrylate, but also used as cross-linking agent of polyethylene, and used as curing agent of unsaturated polyester resin, used as analytical reagent, oxidant and bleaching agent; as conditioner of flour quality, it has bactericidal effect and strong oxidation effect, enabling flour bleaching.
Packaging:20 Kg, 25 Kg, inner PE bag, outer carton or cardboard bucket packaging, and under 35℃ are stored in a cool and ventilated place. Note: Keep the package sealed, remember to lose water, and cause danger.
Transportation requirements:Benzoyl peroxide belongs to the first-order organic oxidant. Risk No.: 22004. The container shall be marked with "organic peroxide" and shall not contain passengers.
Hazardous characteristics:In organic matter, reducing agent, sulfur, phosphorus and open flame, light, impact, high heat combustible; combustion stimulation smoke.
Fire fighting measures:In case of fire, the fire shall be extinguished with water at the explosion suppression site. In case of fire around this chemical, keep the container cool with water. In large-scale fires, the fire area must be evacuated immediately. Cleaning and rescue work after a fire shall not be carried out before the peroxide is fully cooled. In case of leakage caused by fire or use, the leakage must be mixed with water wet vermiculite, cleaned (no metal or fiber tools), and placed in a plastic container for immediate treatment.
Recommended waste disposal methods:Pretreatment included decomposition with natridium hydroxide. Finally, the biodegradable sodium benzene (formate) solution is poured into the drain. A large amount of solution treatment needs to adjust pH before discharge into the sewer, or after mixing with nonfuel, to control incineration. Empty containers of peroxides should be burned at a distance or washed with 10% NaOH solution.
